Swen and Dean have been brothers for all of Dean's life. Coming from a large family, 9 children in all, the brothers grew up singing around the piano, campfires, hallways, local events and wherenot.
Also growing up in the church, faith became an important part of who they are. Always last to church meant always in the front row. Swen and Dean are grateful to their parents for taking them to church to teach them the ways of the Lord. As time went on they both pursued different avenues that have eventually led them to these days of doing concert ministry together.
Swen and Dean are now in their tenth year of ministry on the road. During that time they have seen a lot of places and done a lot of things. From the aboriginal villages of Australia to the halls of many hotels across the country, they have been sharing what they feel God has given them...a talent, a voice and a love for people. "We love people, we love to sing, we love to travel, and we love the Lord. This is a perfect way to put all these ‘loves’ together," says Swen who has been doing this sort of ministry for 19 years. Dean adds "Jesus has made a significant difference in our lives and we want to pass that on."
Swen and Dean have completed 3 CD recordings to date. They include: “As Is” (the white album), “Songs for the Good” (the orange album), and “Significance.” With songs ranging from high energy, highly interactive, participational praise songs Blessed Be and Oh, Baby to heartfelt, passionate performance ballads like Love of Christ and Wings Like Eagles.
